Tormore – 12 Year Old Bourbon, Cream Sherry & Toasted White American Oak Casks

This is a 12 year old Tormore single malt from the distillery at Advie, on the River Spey in Speyside. It was matured in three kinds of cask: bourbon, cream sherry and toasted white American oak. The nose is of peach crumble and poached pears with vanilla fudge and custard. The palate is silky, with stewed pear and a little oak spice, and the finish carries toasted almonds and a hint of coconut.
