Tormore 16 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the distillery at Advie, which was established in 1959. It was finished in selected sherry oak casks, which add an oloroso sherry influence, and is bottled at 46.8% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has rich dried fruits, honeyed orange peel, warm baking spices, toasted almonds and subtle vanilla oak. On the palate come stone fruit, dark chocolate, caramelised sugar and Christmas cake spices. The finish is long and warming, with fruit compote, gentle oak tannins and sweet spice.
