Tormore 16 Year Old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 46.8%. It is the oldest bottling in the distillery's new core range, which is an official series launched under Sukhinder Singh. Tormore was long known mainly through independent bottlers. The aim of the range is to let the distillate's natural balance show rather than heavy cask influence. The nose is ripe apples, juicy pears, honey, vanilla and fine nuts. The palate has delicate spices, soft oak and a touch of fresh citrus. The finish is long and balanced.
