Tormore – 16 Year Old (46.8%)

Tormore 16 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the distillery in the Cromdale Hills, which dates from 1959 and early earned the nickname Pearl of Speyside. It is inspired by the sherry-cask whiskies of the 1980s. The whisky matured entirely in Oloroso sherry butts and cream sherry casks, made from American and European oak. It is bottled at 46.8%, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour. The sherry influence sits alongside the distillery's fruitiness, with notes of brioche, spiced butter, dates, lemon oil, blueberry jam and vanilla fudge.
