This is a single cask Speyside single malt from Tormore, distilled in 1983 and bottled in 2023 at 40 years old. Gordon & MacPhail released it in a 70cl bottle as part of its Private Collection range. The whisky matured in cask 8025101, a refill sherry puncheon that yielded 675 bottles. It was bottled at its natural cask strength of 51.6%, without colouring or chill filtration. Tormore has recently been acquired by Elixir, and Gordon & MacPhail has long known the distillery's potential.
