A 40-year-old single malt from Tormore, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for its Private Collection. The spirit was filled into a refill sherry puncheon in 1983 and stayed there until it was drawn from cask 8025101.
This is a single-cask release of 675 bottles at 51.6% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Tormore stands near Grantown-on-Spey in Moray, in the Speyside region, and has been working since the late 1950s with four wash stills and four spirit stills.
