A single cask Tormore from Speyside, distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2021 at 26 years old by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 58%, without colouring or chill filtration.
The whisky matured in cask 8355, a first fill sherry butt.
The nose offers dark toffee, fruitcake and candied orange peel. The palate is smooth, with rich spiced plum and hints of dark chocolate and oak, and the medium finish carries roasted hazelnuts.
