Tormore – 1994-2021 26 Years Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice (70cl, 57.7%)

This Tormore single malt was distilled in 1994 and bottled on 15 January 2021 by Gordon & MacPhail as part of its Connoisseurs Choice range, making it 26 years old. It matured in a first fill sherry butt and was bottled at 57.7% in a 70cl bottle, with 576 bottles filled. Baked apple, stewed fruit, nuts and vanilla come through on the nose. The palate has dark chocolate, fennel seed, nuts, toffee, nutmeg and sherry, and the finish is of medium length with black pepper and nuts.
