A single cask Tormore from Speyside, distilled in 1995 and matured for 23 years in a bourbon barrel. It was bottled by awico at 51.1% in a 70cl bottle, one of 30 bottles from the cask.
The nose is sweet malt with dried fruit and sweet orange. On the palate the sweet malt and dried fruit carry on, and the whisky is very complex. The finish is medium in length and pleasantly balanced.
