This is a 22 year old single cask Tormore from Speyside, distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2023 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series. It is a UK exclusive.
The whisky matured in a single first fill ex-bourbon barrel that gave 185 bottles. It was bottled at its natural cask strength of 58.8% in a 70cl bottle, without colouring or chill filtration.
The official notes describe vanilla fudge on the nose, followed by lemon, lime and malted biscuit. On the palate come candied peel, pineapple and white chocolate. The finish is medium, with brown sugar and oak.
