This is a Tormore single malt from the 2000 vintage, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice range. It was matured in first fill bourbon casks and is golden in colour. Only 180 bottles were produced.
The nose is rich with mango and lemon alongside honeysuckle and citrus blossom, followed by apricot, desiccated coconut and white chocolate. On the palate, bright citrus fruit and sweet butterscotch are balanced by white pepper, with vanilla custard and mixed fruit. The finish is medium-bodied with herbal notes.
