First-fill bourbon barrel
This Speyside single malt from Tormore was distilled in May 2003 and matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel for more than two decades. Elixir Distillers bottled it in March 2025. It is bottled at natural colour without chill-filtration, in an edition of 226 bottles. The bourbon cask brings the vanilla and oak notes associated with that kind of maturation.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
