This is a 21 year old single malt from Tormore, distilled in 2003 and bottled in March 2025 at 44.9% ABV. It matured in a first-fill bourbon cask, and 180 bottles were filled.
It comes from the Legacy series, for which Tormore distillery manager Polly Logan and Elixir Distillers' master blender Oliver Chilton chose single casks from the 2003, 2009 and 2012 vintages. The whisky is bottled without colouring or chill filtration.
The nose is elegant and complex, with vanilla, honey, ripe fruit, delicate spice and gentle oak.
