This is a 24-year-old Tormore from Speyside, distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2025 by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice range. It was matured in a single refill American hogshead and bottled non-chill-filtered at a cask strength of 56.2% ABV.
The nose offers tangerine peel and green apple with soft butterscotch and floral touches. On the palate, creamy custard and lemon cheesecake sit alongside pineapple and mango. The finish is medium in length, with ripe banana and the light toasted notes of charred oak.
