This is a 24-year-old Tormore from Speyside, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for its Connoisseurs Choice range. It was distilled in 2000, matured in a refill American hogshead and bottled on 12 March 2025 from cask 1264.
The cask gave 217 bottles at a cask strength of 56.2%. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose brings mandarin peel, green apple, butterscotch, toasted almonds and delicate floral notes. On the palate it is silky, with vanilla cream, honey and custard, then milk chocolate and lemon cheesecake before pineapple and mango appear. The medium finish carries ripe banana and light toasted notes from charred oak.
