Tormore – 29 Year Old Vintage 1995 Koval Bourbon Cask Finish Mission Gold (70cl, 42.8%)

This is a 29 year old Speyside single malt from Tormore, bottled by Murray McDavid in its Mission Gold range. It was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2025, and finished in a Koval bourbon cask. It is a single cask release of 139 bottles, made for a 15th anniversary, at 42.8% and in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose combines honey sweetness with herbs, vanilla and caramel, alongside apple, pear and mirabelle, with pineapple and peach adding an exotic note. On the palate it is creamy and elegant, with spicy oak. The finish is of medium length.
