A 31-year-old Speyside single malt from Tormore, selected by Gordon & MacPhail for its Connoisseurs Choice series. It matured in a single refill sherry butt, number 15381, and was bottled in November 2022 at a natural cask strength of 56.1% ABV. The outturn was 518 bottles.
The nose combines dried raisins and ripe raspberries with a hint of orange. On the palate there is dense dark fruit cake with soft chocolate and a little ginger spice. The finish is long, with aromatic aniseed and spicy oak.
