Tormore – Benchmark Uitvlugt Rum Barrel 10 Years Old 2015/2025 (54.1%)

This is a ten-year-old Speyside single malt from Tormore, bottled by Murray McDavid in its Benchmark series. It was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2025, with an outturn of 499 bottles. The whisky spent seven years in hogsheads, then a further three in rum barrels from the Uitvlugt distillery in Guyana, which has since closed. It is bottled at 54.1% ABV, without chill-filtering or added colour. Honey and candied pineapple are the notes it is known for, fruity and warm.
