This is a 14-year-old Tormore from Speyside, bottled by Cadenhead's in its Original Collection at 46% ABV. The whisky matured in a combination of bourbon barrels and Oloroso hogsheads, and it is bottled without chill filtration or added colour.
Tormore was founded in 1958, and its listed building is considered one of the most striking examples of modern distillery design in Scotland.
On the palate it shows butterscotch, orange, white grapes and ginger, sweet and fruity, with a fine spiciness in the finish.
