Torrente High Proof Blanco is an unaged tequila made from 100% blue agave at Los Charcos, Villa Corona, in Jalisco. Bottled at 50% abv in a 75cl bottle, it is a more powerful take on blanco, with a cork stopper. The label refers to the 2023 harvest.
The nose is intense, with cooked agave, lime zest, fresh herbs, black pepper and light mineral notes. The palate is bold and structured, with sweet roasted agave, citrus peel, white pepper, earthy herbs and saline minerality. The finish is long, bright and warming, with agave sweetness, pepper and crisp herbal character.
