Town Branch Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 45%)

Town Branch Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Lexington, bottled at 45% in a 75cl bottle and non-chill-filtered. The mash bill is 72% corn, 15% rye and 13% malted barley, and the whiskey is aged in new charred white oak. It is built from components of two distillation methods on the same grain bill, double pot still and column still. The distillery opened in 2012, and its current blend draws on bourbon aged five to eight years. On the nose, woody oak comes first. The palate has caramel, toffee and brown sugar with a hint of cherry, and the finish is long and warming.
