Town Branch – Kentucky Single Malt (75cl)

This is a Kentucky single malt whiskey from Town Branch, part of Lexington Brewing & Distilling. It is made from 100% malted barley and aged for a minimum of seven years in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. The first-fill barrels add sweet oak flavours that sit alongside the malted barley mash. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at 87 proof, in a 75cl bottle, with a balanced, medium-bodied profile. A drop or two of branch water brings out the spice and dried fruit. The palate is sweet oak with a smooth finish and lingering spice and dried fruit.
