Trail's End Special Reserve is a 10 year old Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 52.5% ABV. It spent a full decade in new charred American oak and is made from a mash bill of corn, rye and malted barley. It pours a deep amber.
The nose brings caramel, toasted oak and vanilla. On the palate there are dark cherry, baking spice and a touch of smoky sweetness. The finish is warm, smooth and lingering, with hints of brown sugar and seasoned wood.
