Tullamore D.E.W. 10 Year Old is a triple-distilled Irish single malt, made from 100% malted barley and matured for ten years in a 70cl bottle's worth of four cask types: bourbon, sherry, port and Madeira. It has a deep golden honey colour.
The nose is sweet, with tropical fruit, especially pineapple, alongside fresh grass, vanilla, caramel and gentle toasted oak. The palate is malty and fruity with lively pepper, wood, citrus, soft vanilla and hints of chocolate. The finish is long, fruity and spicy, with wood and malt lingering.
