Tullamore DEW XO Caribbean Rum Cask Finish is an Irish whiskey bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is a triple distilled blend of three types of whiskey, finished in first fill Demerara rum casks.
The rum casks are described as giving the whiskey a tropical, fruity character.
The nose offers melon, banana, papaya, pineapple and mango, followed by oak and nutmeg. The palate is sweet and almost creamy, with crushed pepper, honey, caramel, oak and nutmeg. The finish is medium in length, creamy and fruity, with honey and toffee.
