Tullibardine 11 2012/2023 - LongValley Selection - Tenuta Tenaglia Barbera Barrique (50%)

This is an 11 year old Tullibardine single malt, bottled by the independent bottler LongValley Selection at a cask strength of 50% ABV. It was distilled in May 2012 and bottled in 2023, with 529 bottles filled. The whisky matured in two first-fill Barbera barriques from Tenuta Tenaglia in Piedmont, which were combined for this bottling. It is non-chill-filtered. The nose offers ripe cherries, juicy plums and raspberries with a little vanilla, plus leather and cedar. On the palate come dark chocolate and cinnamon, with soft tannins and a winey character. The finish is long, dry and marked by oak.
