This is a single malt from Tullibardine, distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2022 at 29 years old. It comes from a single ex-Bourbon hogshead and was bottled at a full 47.5% ABV, giving 181 bottles.
Orange peel, malt extract, herbal pastilles, wax and dark berries mark the nose. On the palate it is complex, with honey and ginger beer before turning nuttier, then closing on orange syrup, Blackjack chews and a little salt. The finish is salty with toffee.
