Tullibardine – 2012-2023 10 Year Old Provenance Single Cask DL17233 (70cl, 46%)

This is a single cask Tullibardine from the Highlands, distilled in 2012 and bottled by Douglas Laing in 2023 at 10 years old for their Provenance range. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 46%, without colouring or chill filtration. The whisky was matured in a refill hogshead, which still gave plenty of colour and character, and the cask yielded 344 bottles. The nose offers Italian coffee and cream, with honey sweetness coming later. The palate is rich, with candied fruit, liquorice, subtle spices and a drift of late smoke. The finish is piquant, with cloves, sugar and a gently smoky tail.
