Tullibardine 2012/2024 11 Year Old Tenuta Tenaglia Barbera Barrique - LongValley Selection (70cl, 50%)

This is an 11 year old Highland single malt from Tullibardine, distilled in 2012 and bottled for the LongValley Selection, Langatun's series of carefully chosen single casks. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 50%, without chill-filtration or added colour. The whisky was matured in first-fill Barbera barriques from the Tenuta Tenaglia winery in Italy. It was bottled from casks 652950 and 652951, giving 529 bottles. The nose offers ripe berries with spice and light vanilla. The palate is full-bodied, with red fruit and subtle wood. The finish is long, with fine spice and a pleasant warmth that underlines the barrique.
