Tullibardine – 2013/2026 12 Year Old PX Sherry Cask Finish Octave (Duncan Taylor) (70cl, 54.6%)

This is a 12 year old Highland single malt from Tullibardine in Blackford, Perthshire. It was distilled on 30 May 2013 and bottled on 19 February 2026 by Duncan Taylor for its Octave series. The whisky was finished in a small Pedro Ximénez sherry octave, cask 10550013, which gave 68 bottles. It is bottled at a cask strength of 54.6%, in a 70cl bottle, in natural colour and without chill-filtration. The nose offers red grapes, raisins, sherry and dark fruit. The palate is full and syrupy, with concentrated malt, dense fruit, dark sweetness and dry wood. The long finish carries raisins and sherry with firm spice and dry oak.
