Tullibardine – 2013/2026 The Murray Cask Strength Edition 1st Fill Bourbon Barrels (70cl, 56.1%)

This Highland single malt from Tullibardine was distilled in 2013 and matured entirely in first-fill bourbon barrels. It was bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 56.1% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour. The edition is limited to 9,800 bottles worldwide. The Murray is part of the Marquess Collection, launched in 2016, and is named after Sir William Murray, 2nd Marquess of Tullibardine, who fought on the Jacobite side at the Battle of Sheriffmuir. Vanilla pod and vanilla cream mix with toasted malted barley and pale pastry on the nose. The palate brings buttery toffee, honeycomb, dark fruit, toasted oak and nuts. The finish is soft, round and lasting, with warming vanilla.
