This is a nine-year-old Highland single malt from Tullibardine, bottled by Signatory Vintage as 100 Proof Edition #44. It was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2025 at 57.1%, without chill-filtration or added colour. The whisky matured in first-fill and second-fill Oloroso sherry butts. Toffee apple and honeyed barley meet orange zest and raisin bread on the nose, with cocoa and a little roasted hazelnut. The palate is velvety, with toffee, dark sugar syrup, red berry compote and malt pastry, then cinnamon chocolate, roasted almonds and candied citrus. The finish is medium to long and gently drying, with sherry-soaked fruit cake, mild oak tannin and a last sweetness of vanilla and malt.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
