Tullibardine – 225 Sauternes Cask Finish (43%)

A Highland single malt Scotch whisky from Tullibardine, part of the distillery's revamped core range under its owners Picard. This bottle is in the original 2013 packaging, and the whisky is bottled at 43% ABV. It was first matured in first-fill bourbon casks, then moved into 225-litre Sauternes barriques from Château Suduiraut in Bordeaux for a further 12 months of finishing. On the palate there are tropical fruits and delicate citrus, with golden honey, creamy vanilla and gentle oak spice. The finish is smooth and fruity.
