Tullibardine 225 is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the distillery at Blackford, Perthshire, finished in Sauternes casks. It is bottled at 43% abv in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is light, fresh and sweet, showing the influence of the dessert wine, with lime, orange peel, ripe apricot and peaches in syrup. The palate is creamy, with fruit sweetness giving way to black pepper, nutmeg and gentle oak. The finish is medium to long, with sweet spices, lemon zest, honey and dried fruit.
