Tullibardine 225 is a Highland single malt that matured first in bourbon casks and was then finished in Sauternes wine casks from Bordeaux. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour.
In the glass it is a warm, golden amber. The nose shows ripe pear, honey and candied fruit, with light floral touches and a hint of vanilla. On the palate it is soft and full, with apricot, peach and honeydew melon, gentle spice, burnt sugar and a little oak.
The finish is long and soft, with fruit and fine spice.
