This is a single cask Highland single malt from Tullibardine, bottled independently by Thompson Bros.
It was distilled in 1993 and rested in one cask for 28 years before the cask was opened. The release is 347 bottles.
The nose is rich cocoa with vanilla pods, lemon zest and a hint of grapefruit, with gently floral honey. The palate has bold barley and peppery spice, sweeter honey and vanilla, a touch of cinnamon and aniseed, alongside toasted hazelnut oak. The finish brings candied orange, crystallised ginger, a hint of maple and honeyed pancakes.
