Tullibardine – 500 Sherry Finish (70cl, 43%)

Tullibardine 500 Sherry Finish is a Highlands single malt bottled at 43%. It takes its name from the 500-litre sherry casks in which it is finished after maturing in ex-bourbon casks. The sherry finish gives the whisky its dark amber colour and much of its character. It came onto the market in 2013. The nose is spicy and aromatic, with brown sugar, apples and a touch of grain. On the palate come stewed fruit, cinnamon, vanilla, caramel and dates, and the finish is long and creamy with notes of chocolate.
