Tullibardine – Burgundy (70cl, 43%)

Tullibardine Burgundy is a Highland single malt matured in 228 litre barriques that previously held Pinot Noir from Chateau de Chassagne-Montrachet. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, and the time in those casks gives the whisky its auburn colour. The nose offers red cherries and vanilla, with hints of chocolate and Turkish Delight. On the palate there is red summer fruit and more chocolate, and the finish carries a sweet spice note.
