Tullibardine – First Sherry 14 Year Old Whisky Chamber (50cl, 57.7%)

This is a 14 year old Highland single malt from Tullibardine, bottled by The Whisky Chamber as a single cask at 57.7% ABV in a 50cl bottle. It was distilled in June 2006 and matured in a first fill sherry cask, with 426 bottles filled. The cask is credited with giving the whisky a dark colour and its aromas of cherry toffee and chocolate. The nose is cherry toffee, vanilla and creamy chocolate with mild roasted notes. On the palate come sherry and chocolate, with the cherry toffee round and soft. The finish is long and complex.
