Tullibardine – Sauternes Finish 225 (70cl, 43%)

This is a Highland single malt from Tullibardine, matured first in first-fill ex-bourbon casks and then finished in Sauternes casks. The 225 in the name refers to the 225-litre capacity of those casks. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, chill-filtered and without added colour. Citrus and tropical fruit meet vanilla and oats, with a creamy texture at the close. The nose shows lime, vanilla and oats. On the palate, tropical pineapple meets lively orange peel. The finish is creamy.
