Tullibardine – Spectrum Series 1.0 Cadenhead's Original Collection 12 Years Old (46%)

This 12 year old Highland single malt from Tullibardine is the first release in Cadenhead's Spectrum Series, a run of bottlings built around different cask types. The first looks at sherry. Rather than using one cask, the whisky was matured in five kinds of sherry cask together: Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso, Fino, Amontillado and Manzanilla. The range runs from the salty, maritime edge of Manzanilla to the spice of Oloroso and the rich sweetness of Pedro Ximénez. It is bottled at 46% ABV, without added colouring and without chill filtration.
