Tullibardine The Murray is a Highland single malt from the distillery's Marquess Collection, which draws on the history of the hamlet of Tullibardine and the Marquesses who held its title. It was distilled in 2007 and matured for 12 years in first-fill ex-bourbon casks from the USA.
It was bottled in 2019 at batch strength, undiluted, at 56.6% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is intense vanilla with floral hints of hay and flowers, plus caramel, coconut and lemon cake. The palate is creamy and full, starting with sweet caramel and pastry, then vanilla ice cream, lemon zest and spicy-sweet oak. The finish is long and intense, with sweet oak, citrus and vanilla.
