This is The Murray from Tullibardine, the 13th release in the annual Marquess Collection, which celebrates the heritage of the hamlet of Tullibardine. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2024 at 46% ABV, in an edition of 15,720 bottles.
Red wine casks from Châteauneuf-du-Pape add a rich, fruity depth to the house character of vanilla, caramel and oak.
The nose brings blackberries and plums alongside vanilla, caramel and oak. On the palate come ripe autumn fruits, with blackcurrants, that turn spicier towards the end. The finish is fresh and creamy, with a hint of cinnamon.
