Tullibardine The Murray Distilled 2005 – Bottled 2017 (70cl, 56.3%)

A Highland single malt from Tullibardine, distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2017 at a cask strength of 56.3% ABV. It is non-chill filtered, comes in a 70cl bottle and belongs to The Marquess Collection. The nose is led by vanilla ice cream, toffee and wildflower honey, with tinned pineapple, baked apple, lemon peel, desiccated coconut and a little toasted oak. On the palate it is full-bodied and warming, with creamy vanilla, malted biscuits, sweet pineapple and lemon sorbet. The finish is long, silky and spicy, with honey and cereal sweetness, cinnamon, dry oak and a touch of black pepper.
