Smokin' Riff is a blended Scotch whisky from Turntable Spirits, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The blend draws on several casks: North British virgin oak barrels (28%), Pedro Ximénez puncheons from Craigellachie (24%) and Knockdhu (21%), and Caol Ila bourbon barrels (18%) and red wine barrels (9%).
Smoke meets sweet vanilla on the nose, with a light fruity spice from the Pedro Ximénez casks. The palate is full-bodied, with toasted oak, dark chocolate and a little smoke alongside sweet fruit. The finish is lingering and warm, with mild smoke and a sweet close.
