Turntable Spirits Track 7: Born to be Wild (70cl, 53%)

Track 7: Born to be Wild is a blended Scotch from Turntable Spirits, bottled at 53% in an edition of 1,800 bottles, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. It combines four single malts and a grain whisky: peated Ardnamurchan from a sherry butt, Lochlea and Nc'nean from first-fill bourbon casks, peated Raasay from a Chinkapin oak cask, and Port Dundas grain from a refill bourbon cask. The nose is salty sea spray, campfire-toasted marshmallows and honey-glazed ham. The palate is waxy, with teriyaki beef, smoky bacon, apple pie and cream, crème brûlée, ginger and pepper. The creamy finish leaves peach and barley sponge.
