Undisclosed Speyside 1998-2026 27 Year Old Infrequent Flyers Single Cask 802366 (70cl, 53.6%)

A single cask malt from Glenrothes in Speyside, bottled under the name Undisclosed Speyside. It was distilled in 1998 and bottled in April 2026 at 53.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle, as part of Batch 21 of Alistair Walker's Infrequent Flyers Collection. After 27 years in cask 802366, the whisky spent almost five years finishing in a Chinquapin oak barrel, a species of American white oak. The result was 200 bottles at natural cask strength, with no added colour or chill filtration. The nose is heavy with banana fritters in honey and marzipan. The palate is viscous and weighty, with honeycomb, Demerara sugar, nutmeg and pepper.
