Valinch & Mallet Knockdhu 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt from Knockdhu Distillery, the producer of the anCnoc range. It was matured for twelve years and bottled at 52.9% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers ripe apple, pear, golden honey and fresh malt, with citrus zest, vanilla and gentle toasted oak. The palate is rich and warming, with honeyed cereal, baked orchard fruit, creamy vanilla and toasted nuts, while baking spice and oak tannins give it structure. The finish is malty and sweet, with orchard fruit and soft oak spice, ending gently drying.
