Vecchia Romagna Tre Botti Reserva is an Italian brandy made by the Vecchia Romagna house from distilled wine, using selected Italian grapes. It is matured through a three-barrel process, which adds texture and oak character while keeping the fruit at the centre. It is bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is fruity, with dried fig, plum, golden raisin and baked apple, along with cinnamon, clove, honeyed almond and toasted oak. The palate is silky and full-bodied, led by ripe fruit compote with vanilla, caramelised sugar and gentle oak spice. The finish is long and smooth, with honey, dried fruit, vanilla and a light echo of toasted wood.
