Veuve Goudoulin VSOP Bas-Armagnac (70cl)

This is a VSOP Bas-Armagnac from the house of Veuve Goudoulin, distilled in the continuous Armagnac still, a method that gives fine, elegant spirits with good complexity. It is aged in oak casks for eight to twelve years, well beyond the four-year minimum the rules would require for the grade. The colour is bright topaz with green reflections. The nose is intense, with vanilla, dried figs, plum and toasted notes. On the palate it is very intense, with dried prunes and walnuts lingering into a long, elegant finish.
